Basic geometric shapes

Solid crochet shapes - Double Crochet (DC)

These crochet motifs are worked in rounds without turning.
But if you want the motif to look like double crochet worked in rows, simply turn the work after each round.

These crochet diagrams have six rounds, but you can make more or fewer rounds as required for a larger or smaller motif.

You can see the Crochet Symbols chart on the Crochet Designs page and also other motifs to make.

Solid crochet shapes - Treble Crochet (TR)

These crochet motifs are worked in rounds without turning.
But if you want the motif to look like double crochet worked in rows, simply turn the work after each round.

These crochet diagrams have six rounds, but you can make more or fewer rounds as required for a larger or smaller motif.

To make a semicircle, start the same as the circle but with half of the initial stitches and work in rows, (turn the work after each row).

You can see the Crochet Symbols chart on the Crochet Designs page and also other motifs to make.
